About the Images

This is Romeo, a handsome six-year-old Andalusian gelding owned by Jenny Muller.  He has been in training with me since the age of three and is a dream to work with.  His smooth gaits and wonderful disposition create a fabulous mount for both his owner and his trainer.  Teaching him the Spanish walk and the piaffe and passage are helping him improve on lifting his shoulders while learning how to balance better on his hind quarters and collect himself.   He truly enjoys his work.

About the Clinics

Clinics are held three days a month with Alfredo Hernandez.  Each time, the equine is re-evaluated by Alfredo for their progress in the training and assessed on their current mental and physical status before the work is implemented.  Some work may be done in-hand if the equine is not ready to be mounted.  The sessions are a maximum of 30-minutes, with care taken as to not over-work or over-tax the horse.  The psychology behind the work is to keep the equine happy and willing while teaching him/her skills that will help improve their overall "way of going".
